Each month, The Neuro Unity Initiative brings people together through events that spread awareness and give back. From fundraisers and volunteering to creative community gatherings, our events are all about supporting individuals and families affected by neurodegenerative diseases.

Past Events
On December 20th, 2025, we chose to bring awareness and support to Progressive Supranuclear Palsy we held a Bake Sale at the Howard County Central Branch Library. In our efforts, we raised a total of $340, 100% of which went straight to CurePSP, an organization that works to to find a cure for this disease and to provide support to people with it!

January 2026
This month, we planned to hold a chair yoga event in order to get the seniors as the Residences at Vantage Point memory care unit in order to engage them and get them moving. This type of movement has been proven to counteract some of the symptoms of dementia, and lessen some of the struggles that they may be facing with their battle. Our event was postponed a couple of times due to inclement weather, but hopefully will take place soon!
Febuary 2026
On Febuary 17th and 21st, we chose to bring awareness and support to Frontotemporal Degeneration we held a Bake Sale at the Howard County Millar Branch Library. In our efforts, we raised a total of $350, 100% of which went straight to AFTD, an organization that works to to find a cure for this disease and to provide support to people with it!
